Building a Greener Company

The playground manufacturing industry has been making changes to adapt leaner and greener ways of doing business.  Eagle Play Structures is on board with this collective commitment, and we’re making sure we do our part.

We’re reducing our carbon footprint.

Our warehouse and shipping facilities are entirely solar-heated, use no air conditioning, and are lighted entirely by natural sunlight during daylight hours. We recycle all office and factory waste, including steel, aluminum, cardboard, and plastic. We have eliminated the use of off-road diesel. We do not use materials that contain phthalates, lead, cadmium, mercury, or any other heavy metal. Timber borders surrounding playgrounds are either plastic or arsenic-free, ACQ pressure-treated southern yellow pine. All of our steel, plastic, and aluminum products utilize recycled content. We use recycled paper products and shipping materials.
