Design Theory
Studies show that children develop physically, emotionally, and socially on the playground. This concept is central to the Eagle Play Structures design theory. We strive to develop playground environments that include a balanced blend of physical, imaginative, and interactive play activities. With the advent of the Americans with Disabilities Act Playground Guidelines, design concepts can be taken a step further to promote all types of play for children of diverse abilities.
Our playground designs address all types of development needs in every playground.
The ability to think like a kid is an important quality of any playground designer. Remembering one’s favorite childhood play activities is an essential ingredient to the design process. As important is the ability to design age-appropriate play activities.
